About Voraise

Voraise grew out of a season of rebuilding.

For much of my life, I was focused on surviving, getting through what was in front of me, and starting over when life changed direction. Somewhere along the way, I began paying closer attention to the small things that made a space—or a day—feel different: sunlight through trees, water moving over rocks, wildflowers along a road, the colors of fall, a quiet mountain view, or simply the way one beautiful object could change the feeling of a room.

I began to realize that what we surround ourselves with matters.

Color can lift a heavy room. Nature can make a space feel calmer. Something unexpected can bring personality to an ordinary corner. Our homes don't have to be perfect to make us feel something—they should feel like us.

That idea became Voraise.

I'm not a traditional painter, and I don't want to pretend to be one. I have enormous respect for artists who have spent years developing their craft with paint and brush. My creative process is different. I use photographs from my own journey, digital design tools, Canva, color, texture, and experimentation to take inspiration I love and turn it into something new for the home.

Sometimes I begin with a landscape. Sometimes it's a photograph, a color combination, a branch, a wildflower, an autumn afternoon, or simply a feeling I want a room to have.

I don't believe creativity has to fit inside one definition.

For me, Voraise is about noticing beauty, playing with possibilities, and giving ourselves permission to create a life—and a space—that feels more like our own.

You'll see a lot of nature here because that's where I continually find inspiration: mountains, forests, water, botanicals, changing seasons, imperfect textures, and colors that make you stop for a second and look.

And although Voraise has grown into wall art, home décor, journals, seasonal pieces, and everyday objects, the heart of it is still very simple:

Color your space. Change the mood. Make it yours.

Voraise isn't about having the perfectly decorated home.

It's about creating little places around you that make you feel something.

And sometimes, changing what surrounds us is one small way of changing what we feel inside.
